Effective date: June 22, 2026 Service providers can use Handshake to receive exclusive home-service lead opportunities after completing profile and review steps. Information needed to register Providers may be asked for business name, contact name, email address, phone number, website, years in business, service categories, ZIP-code coverage, licensing status, insurance status, and a business description. Vetting documents Handshake may request licenses, insurance certificates, or similar documents for private review. Providers are responsible for submitting current, accurate, and authorized documents. Approval and availability Providers do not enter live lead rotation until the profile is approved. Providers can pause new leads when they are booked out or unavailable. Lead review When a homeowner accepts a provider profile, the provider may review an anonymized lead summary. The provider can decline the lead or accept it and pay the lead acceptance fee to unlock contact details. Provider responsibilities Providers are responsible for keeping profile information current, contacting homeowners promptly after contact release, honoring their own estimates and service commitments, and requesting refund review only when a lead appears invalid under the Refund Policy. Privacy Provider information and documents are handled according to the Handshake Privacy Policy.
